Jonas is recognized by his peers in the training fraternity as one of the outstanding young horsemen active in North America today. Despite having a small stable, in 2005 he campaigned both the Hambletonian Oaks winner Jalopy 3, 1:53.4 ($433,662) and well as the brilliant early-season sensation Klipspringer 2, 1:57 ($146,952). Also that year he was responsible for the freshman superstar Surtees Hanover 2, 1:55 ($362,928), who was second in the Peter Haughton among other accomplishments. No Pain No Gain 2, 1:55 ($408.513) was also campaigned in 2007 and 2008 to successful 2 year old and 3 year old seasons. 2008, brought Symphonic Hanover 2, 1:56 ($137,500) and Seaside 2, 1:54.4 ($161,541) to the racing communities attention.

A native of Sweden, Czernyson learned his trade first from American trainer Don Swick, then partnered with Per Eriksson, one of the most successful trotting trainers in harness history. During his time with Eriksson, Czernyson helped develop such standouts as Credit Winner 3, 1:54 ($1,495,295), Bullville Victory 3, 1:53.1 ($759,285), Dream Of Joy 2, 1:57 ($826,601), and Tejano 3, 1:53.2 ($322,723). The stable was a major force in rich trotting events, winning the Breeders Crown, Merrie Annabelle, World Trotting Derby, and Kentucky Futurity among other races.

Team JC Stable is based at Sunshine Meadows in Delray Beach, Florida in the winter and at Winners International in New Jersey in the summer.
